On this sunny Sunday afternoon, it’s time to write my last blogpost of the Finland roadtrip.
On the last days of this trip, we headed down south. First, we made a stop in picturesque Porvoo, which is the second oldest town in Finland. I really loved the red houses alongside the waterfront and the cobbled streets.

Our next stop was the capital of Finland, Helsinki. We took a long walk around the city, visiting the main landmarks and strolling around, soaking up the atmosphere.

Helsinki seemed a really relaxed city when I was there. People seemed to be enjoying their life at an easier pace than they would be doing over here in Brussels, where everybody always seems in a hurry to me.
Helsinki marked the final stop of our trip. We drove up to Turku, only to catch the ferry boat to Stockholm there. After 4180 km, it was time to head home!
