Gent is the city I was born & raised in. It’s the city where Maarten studied at University. It’s the city where we both still work, the city of our beloved football team K.A.A. Gent & the city where our daughter was born. We have a bond with it. And we consider it our mission to prove to everybody that it’s the most beautiful city of Belgium. Because, well, it simply is.
You’ll see Gent pop up in our tweets & blogs every now and then. This first blogpost is about the light festival in 2012, held in the old city centre. Gent by night is always magical, but the light festival gives it all a fairytale atmosphere. We loved it. Nearly froze to death, but loved it 🙂
