    Exploring Copenhagen

    Today, we visited the capital. Because the past days have been rather full and busy, we decided to focus on the northern part of the city and more or less stick to the highlights there. We started off this day in a lazy mood and finally arrived in Copenhagen around noon. After parking the car we first went to Amalienborg Slot, the official residence of the queen. We passed the impressive Marmorkirken with its dome inspired by the St-Peter’s Cathedral in Rome, and the Alexander Newsky Kirke in Byzantine style.
